This juvenile female Snowy Owl was photographed at Little Talbot State Park in Duval County. This was an extremely rare sighting in Florida. On this sunny afternoon before a strong cold front passed, there was a brief window of time when afternoon light illuminated the owl as she flew between dunes north of boardwalk 4.
